Prohibited Behavior

The following actions are strictly forbidden and may result in account suspension or permanent ban:

Harassment & Abuse

Threatening, intimidating, or bullying other users
Using hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
Targeted harassment or stalking
Encouraging self-harm or suicide

Inappropriate Content

Sharing pornographic material or nudity
Posting violent or graphic content
Distributing mature-oriented material
Sharing gore, shock content, or disturbing imagery

Impersonation & Deception

Pretending to be someone else (celebrity, official, another user)
Creating fake accounts for malicious purposes
Misrepresenting your age, location, or intentions
Using someone else's photos without permission

Spam & Commercial Activity

Sending unsolicited promotional messages
Advertising products, services, or other platforms
Mass-messaging users with identical content
Sharing referral links or affiliate codes
Running scams, phishing attempts, or fraud schemes

Privacy Violations

Sharing personal information about others without consent (doxxing)
Requesting private information like address, financial details, or passwords
Recording or screenshotting conversations without clear permission
Attempting to discover someone's real identity against their wishes

Illegal Activities

Discussing or promoting illegal acts
Sharing copyrighted material without permission
Engaging in or facilitating illegal transactions
Posting content that violates laws in Germany or your jurisdiction

Content & Conversation Boundaries

While Stuttgart Chat encourages authentic conversation, certain topics require extra care:

Political/religious discussions: Allowed if respectful, but avoid proselytizing or inflammatory debates
Sensitive personal topics: Be mindful of trauma, mental health, or relationship issues—offer support, not unsolicited advice
Sexual content: Strictly prohibited, regardless of consent of participants

Enforcement & Consequences

Violations of these guidelines will result in action based on severity:

First offense: Warning and temporary restriction of features
Repeat offenses: Account suspension (7–30 days)
Severe violations: Immediate permanent ban
Legal violations: Reported to appropriate authorities

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. You'll be notified of actions taken regarding your reports, but specific details may be kept confidential.

Appeals Process

If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error:

Contact our support team through the contact form
Provide your username and explanation of why you believe the action was mistaken
Our team will review and respond within 48 hours
Final decisions rest with Stuttgart Chat's moderation team
